Rust College Women’s Tennis Begins 2026 Season Under Coach Venecca Green, Welcomes Fans to New Home Courts
After earning a major milestone in 2025 with a playoff victory and strong performances against high-level competition, Rust College enters the new season with confidence, purpose, and renewed energy.
A major highlight for this season is the addition of Rust College's newly resurfaced tennis courts. With a brand new home playing surface, the Bearcats are excited to welcome students, fans, and the Holly Springs community out to support women's tennis throughout the spring.
One of the key returners for Rust this season is standout competitor Emeline Honfoga, who emerged as one of the program's top performers last year. Honfoga's competitiveness, experience, and leadership will play a critical role as Rust continues building depth and striving for continued postseason success.
"We're excited about the direction our women's tennis program is headed," said Coach Venecca Green. "Last season showed what we're capable of, and Emeline continues to set the standard with her work ethic and competitive spirit. Having new courts this year is another step forward for our program, and we look forward to seeing our fans come out and support our student-athletes."
With a strong returning leader, a growing foundation, and upgraded facilities, Rust College Women's Tennis is ready to serve up an exciting 2026 season.
