Rust College’s Patsy Johnson Named HBCUAC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week

Johnson was electric throughout the week, scoring a combined 49 points, knocking down nine three-pointers, dishing out nine assists, and shooting over 52% from the field. Her all-around offensive efficiency was instrumental in Rust College's success.
 
Her efforts helped lead the Bearcats to an 88–83 win over Wilberforce University and a commanding 78–22 victory over Crowley's Ridge College, securing back-to-back wins for the program.
"Patsy is playing with tremendous confidence, and it's showing in every part of her game," said Head Coach Jaleesa Sams. "Her leadership and consistency are driving our team forward, and we're extremely proud of the work she's putting in."
 
Johnson's recognition marks another milestone for the Rust College women's basketball program as it continues to build momentum in HBCUAC competition.
